Thank You For Your Continued Support

The True Blue Student Coalition would like to sincerely thank everybody who cast a vote for making student government matter and bring effective leadership to the ASUO. We proved that an efficient and ethical campaign can be run on a strict spending cap that doesn’t break the bank during a time of economic crisis. The support we received throughout the campaign has been tremendously encouraging.

True Blue is not done yet! We have five candidates who will need your vote in the general election. Paige Libadisos (Senate Seat 4 - EMU Board), Jeremy Blanchard (Senate Seat 10 - DFC), Zach Stark-MacMillan (Senate Seat 16 - Science), Peter Ewbank (SRC Advisory Board), and Chase Kahmann (SRC Advisory Board) will all be on the ballot from Monday at 9 AM to Thursday at 5 PM. Please remember to log on to DuckWeb and elect these outstanding candidates to the ASUO. Additionally, there was an outright victory for True Blue on Thursday. Christina Ergas (Senate Seat 17) will be representing graduate students on the senate next year, and we look forward to her being able to help implement the policies that we committed to during this campaign.

We place our full support behind Emma Kallaway and Getachew Kassa for president and vice president. They have displayed the same kind of fiscal restraint during this campaign that they will exhibit in office and it is crucial that everybody who believes in the process cast a vote in their favor. Similarly, we fully endorse all Students First candidates who moved on to the general election. Their voices in the senate will be critical to implementing effectual policies that will have positive impacts on students.

Once again, thank you all so much for your support this election season. We will continue to push for positive and effective change from the ASUO. Be sure to cast your vote next week to ensure that we have strong, responsible, and ethical leadership from our student government.
