EUGENE, OR – On Wednesday, the True Blue Student Coalition will kick off the ASUO campaign season with a free concert in the EMU Amphitheater. Executive candidates Nick Schultz and Lidiana Soto will appear with the rest of the members of the True Blue slate to introduce themselves, discuss their plans for “Making Student Government Matter” to all students at the University of Oregon, and reach out to students across campus for their ideas about how to make the ASUO more relevant in their lives.
The kickoff concert will be headlined by Four Trees, an instrumental hip-hop group from Eugene. The event will offer students the opportunity to enjoy hula-hooping, juggling, playing Frisbee and listening to the music. Members of True Blue will also be present to sell campaign material, talk with interested students and listen to their ideas for improving the ASUO. All students will be encouraged give their responses to the question “What do you want from student government?” by writing in chalk around the amphitheater.

This is such a great website. I am really excited to see enthusiastic and dedicated leadership coming back to ASUO Executive. I really believe in your ability to exact change and make not only the UO community but all communities that touch our students better. Good luck and way to go!
Denise,
Thank you for your kind words. Everything we’ve done on this site and plan to do once we take office is for students like you. We’d love to talk with you about what change you’d like to see on campus. Please feel free to write to us at sayhello@votetrueblue.org, message us through the contact form, or volunteer to help us find more students like you!
Love,
True Blue Student Coalition.
